BBD Summer Iris

Blackbird Designs “Summer Iris” stitched on 28c Country French Linen in Cashmere with the recommended WDW & GAST threads, I finished it as a pin pillow the fabric in the picture is what I used for the backing and I trimmed it with a matching trim. I loved stitching this piece…

Scandinavian Pin Pillow

The design appeared in the June 2007 of the GOSM, I stitched on 32c Jobelan in White & Bay Leaf, using Vikki Clayton silks in Cranberry & Light French Artichoke.  I used DMC cotton in Ecru to make the tassels to finish it off.
